May Day Songs

The male Northern Cardinal
came to the small Crab tree by the office window.

He sang his morning song.

The mist did not bother him.
He shook his tail and flew on.
I too shall shake my tail.
I am searching for the Full Flower Moon.

The Cardinal has a strong voice, doesn't he? Lovely picture, Sherry. I'd love to have a view like that from my office window. But then, I wouldn't get my work done...

Dear Mary,
Work???
I forgot all about that!!
I do not get very much accomplished any more...
The Cardinals are accomplished singers. The Carolina Wrens also can sing!
As can the Mocking Birds and the Brown Thrashers and Robins and just today I heard the Grosbeaks and....
I think it is my job to listen to all of them. Pay is not too great but I am working on that. Maybe someone will pay me to be the offical song bird listener. :-)

Dear Sprite,
When it is cloudy for you may you have bright birds and flowers and butterflies.
Always bird songs,
