All part of the family

The Grosbeaks are part of the backyard birds now.
As are the Orioles.
The Hummers are also part of the family.
We have a routine.
We are getting along just fine.
I am once again out of seed and grape jelly.

What a lovely family you have, Q:-) Just like my sons, when they come home, they eat all the food :-)

My birds have really slowed down this week. Have not seen my male Grosbeaks in days and only an occasional bunting now. :c( I'll live vicariously through your feeders Sherry. Still waiting and hoping for an Oriole.

Our Grosbeaks are gone and the buntings were only seen flying over. No Oriole. Like Jayne said, I'll just keep eyeing up yours!

Dear Chris,
My kids live out of town so I do not get to feed them very often!
I am so happy to feed the birds.
The birds and butterflies do keep me entertained and involved.

Hi Jayne,
It appears that two pairs of the Grosbeaks are staying on. The Orioles also seem to have stayed. I saw a group of them across the street when we walked and they come and go all day for oranges and jelly and nectar.
I am hoping the Indigo Buntings do come! Hope it is not too late in the year for them to find my feeders.
With all the babies my feeders are emptying rather quickly.
I also learn so much from your backyard!

Dear Mary,
Maybe the Buntings are coming to my house??
I keep hearing new sounds in the morning chorus.
I saw a Tufted Titmouse yesterday.
They are very cute!
