I want to do some creative work this afternoon.
I went outside for the energy of orange.
More orange lilies are blooming so I cut a stem for my desk.I went outside for the energy of orange.
One look at the Eastern Comma and I was ready to work.
Many Red Admirals are out today.
I think I will go back for more of the Oriole orange.
I will need it later today.

I was rather pleased today with how much vim, viger and vitality I had. I am feeling more enthusiastic each day.
I was pleased to see many of the mums that have looked dead for a month have new growth and a few of the rose bushes are re-bounding.
It has taken a while for the effects of April's deep feeze to lose its death grip! I still hold hope for the 23 Heathers that still look very dead!
My gardens do not have the lush show I normally have but I am finding a few flowers and am encourged.

I love the colour orange - it is gorgeous in your garden. I wish we had the Oriole in our garden ...he is spectacular!
Q, I know there are probably many different types of heather but here purple heather grows in the coldest, windiest of places, up on the moor! Dunkery Beacon our highest point in this area is supposed to be the purple headed mountain in the hymn All Things Bright and Beautiful. Don't give up them, they may yet surprise you :-)

LOL! Sometimes there is trouble in paradise! I am glad to have the orange flowers as they are so bright and fill me with energy!
I was looking at the day lilies and some seem to be okay. I do think I might have a few bloom in a week or so.
I am thinking about adding a new flowerbed this year. I need blue flowers and birds!

Most people that see my gardens see a mess! I see, "maybe you will pull through!"
The Heathers were greening up the first of April! I called a Heather grower and she said all over the Midwest people were losing their Heathers from the early warm up.
If they do not make it I will have to decide if I will replant them or try something else. They are hardy here, it was the early too warm and than back to deep freeze that killed so many plants.
I will hold on for a few more weeks!

In color theraphy orange is the color for creative energy.
Lately I have not felt very creative!
I am working on a Anniversary trip for my husband and I. I knew I would be on the phone a bit so I put the orange lily on my desk so I could be a gracious, trip planner!
It is working. I think our trip will be very fun, relaxiong and beautiful.
