Sherry, I always find myself smiling when I come here.
In the first photo, she appears to be looking down into the rain gauge to see just how much fell.
The babies are delightful, what momma wouldn't be proud.

The birds do make me laugh! These little Nuthatches were so funny.
She WAS looking down into the rain gauge! I had done that a couple of times and I think she wanted to see what it was I was looking at. Today the Nuthatches were pecking at the rain gauge. So cute.

Dear Deb,
I did a very nice series of Nuthatch photos. They are friendly. My friend came over this morning to do some backyard bird watching with me and was thrilled to see the Hummingbirds and Nuthatches so close.
I think the Nuthatches are here to stay!
