Bugs

I went to check on the Witch Hazel.
The female Widow Skimmer Dragonfly was also checking.

The Cabbage White butterfly
likes the volunteers I have left.
I do not know the name of this bug.
He was flying about in the zucchini.

I see three small zukes are ready to pick.
We will have our first stir fry of the season tonight.

It is zucchini time!

Hi Deb,
I just love the Dragonflies.
Our ponds are tiny and every year I have a hope and a prayer the Dradonflies return.
Now I am learning the names of them. Having a pair is nice!
Yummmm zucchini/pear loaf! We eat lots of zucchini. I will look forward to your post and the recipe.

Hi Saucy,
Dragonflies are lucky!
I do love them. I have dragonfly things all over my house all year long. Having "real" ones in my back yard is a joy.
I also am looking forward to Deb's recipe.

Hi Sheila,
I do not know what the bug was. I went looking for it today but did not see it.
Dragonflies are so old and beautiful.
