Solstice Eve

I am enjoying a partly cloudy day.

A good day for photos,
a good day for weeding,
a good day to sit in the grass.

Sitting with the Eastern Tailed-Blue
was very nice.

Dear Pat,
The Eastern Tailed-Blues are so tiny! Not even an inch from wing tip to wing tip! I really liked this series on the clover.
These are one of my favorite butterflies.

Dear Sheila,
I am rather smittened by the Tailed-Blues.
I love the way they flitter about in the clovers.
I think we need to plant more clovers too since the bunnies like it so much. The Tailed-Blues only sip nectar, the bunnies gobble the blooms right up!
Long warm summer evenings...

Dear mary,
They will come right back. They are busy building a fine nest and eating bugs!
Your food is just too good not to come back for!
Happy summer.

Hi Jeanne,
Thank you.
I too like them. I take lots of Hummingbird photos. I know come winter I will miss them. I also take as many butterfly photos as I am able. Again come snow days I will be longing for them.
Happy summer,
Sherry
