Full Strawberry Moon

The Full Strawberry Moon was behind the rains.
My husband took me out to get peanuts for the woodpeckers.
We drove by The Little Blue River. It is full and still in it's banks.
No picinics today.
The soft, gentle rains continue.
It is chilly out.
I leave June with a sweater on.

What a wonderful and beautiful picnic table. I never seen one like that!

Hopefully you'll have a better day tomorrow.

I think your weather is much the same as ours :-) rain and more rain! We have not seen our full strawberry moon either :-) I love the pics of your drive, they are very interesting to see and are greener than I had expected :-) Lets hope the sun shines for us tomorrow :-)

Dear Q~

This is a lovely array of photographs perfectly depicting our days here in the Midwest.

Reflections on the pavement, a flowing river, a Stonehenge picnic bench, and a posing squirrel; what more can you ask on rainy days such as these?

I once knew a man who named his English Sheep dog "Charlotte Fogbottom."

I think we should name the places that are so soaked with rain "The Territory of Foggy Sogbottom."

hehe~

Reading with a cup of hot tea in the rain,

Please, may I have some of your rain. My plants are so in need of it. Sprinkler just aren't the same. They need warm rain, just a nature intended.
I hope July brings you sun..

No rain for us ... and we desperately need it. The lawns are yellow, flowers thirsty and we are on a watering restriction!

Dear Cathy,
I like rainy days. After three of them and 4 inches of rain I was ready for a break. I needed to see the butterflies!
The picinic tables in the park down the street are all stone. Some were built in the 1930's.
I think they are pretty too.

Dear Chris,
You have had plenty of rain too!
Our area is usually very green. The recent rains have really given a full lush to everything.
I will check and see if you did get some sunshine.
The tomatoes need sun to ripen!
The rains have been good for the gardens. I picked 13 nice sized zucchini this afternoon.

Hi Mary,
I wish you some soft and gentle rains! I have had more than enough for a week or two!
I do like the idea of sharing.
I do have fun rain or shine!

Dear Sprite,
Thank you! It has been rainy!
"Foggy Sogbottom" would have lots of territory! LOL Fun.
I am looking at bog plants.
I saw in the forecast we are to get more rain during the coming week.....
I do like the idea of a wet July.
If the temps go up I might look into tropicals.
As it is my yard is a jungle.
It is fun too! Lots of Dragonflies and Damsels.

Dear Sheila,
Wet for you dry for me!
That would be a nice trade.
Sprinklers never do give the same amount of "drink" regardless of how long they run.
I seldom water, just the essentials like you.
Here's to June showers for you and Deb!

Dear Deb,
I tried to send Mary rain and she ended up with 8 inches in two days.
Think I will just wish on a star for you and Sheila. The rain sticks are too powerful! LOL
Hope your plants, butterflies and birds are okay. Silly weather patterns.
