Tufted Titmouse

I am excited to see the Titmouse.

A pair came today.

My bird book says they take over former woodpecker holes for nesting.

They are year round residents in my area.

As long as I am outside, the little birds have a chance at the big feeders.

I do have a small peanut feeder up high by my office window, only little birds can get to.

I have seen the tufted Titmouse many times now.

I hope it will stay around for winter.
