Dear Sprite,
Old books are treasures. Often I decorate with them since the covers are so pretty.
My house is filled with books. Long ago I ran out of room on the book shelves.
We are book people.
I read all genres.

I have a lot of old books as well. I've collected old children's books in particular for a while now. I've been fortunate to come across some that even work as I homeschool my youngest daughter. The others I use like you do, for decorating.

My library is in the process of aquiring "East Wind Melts the Ice". I'm really looking forward to reading this one.

Dear Mary,
I also collect old childrens stories. I like the ones from the 18oos. Beautiful illustrations.
We will have fun reading and chatting about our books. I will post on Fridays. Hope everyone is comfortable discussing our book.
It will be fun.
