Drying off!

The birds flocked to the feeders during the rain storm.
The Goldfinch waited his turn.
The rains stopped at twilight.

Wow, what great bird pictures! We always have many bird at our garden but for some unknown reason, they avoid my feeders and our new bird house - I guess they prefer all the worms in the lawn and elsewhere!

Guess what! While I am writing these lines, it's snowing outside! Oh no!!! It's the first day of spring today!

Dearest Q Poppins,

Sweet babies, they'll dry soon.

May I also include the lyrics to a song with such a precious reminder...

"Feed The Birds"

Early each day to the steps of Saint Paul's
The little old bird woman comes
In her own special way to the people she call,
"Come, buy my bags full of crumbs
Come feed the little birds,
Show them you care
And you'll be glad if you do
Their young ones are hungry
Their nests are so bare
All it takes is tuppence from you
Feed the birds, tuppence a bag
Tuppence, tuppence, tuppence a bag
Feed the birds," that's what she cries
While overhead, her birds fill the skies

All around the cathedral the saints and apostles
Look down as she sells her wares
Although you can't see it,
You know they are smiling
Each time someone shows that he cares

Though her words are simple and few
Listen, listen, she's calling to you
"Feed the birds, tuppence a bag
Tuppence, tuppence, tuppence a bag"

Though her words are simple and few
Listen, listen, she's calling to you
"Feed the birds, tuppence a bag
Tuppence, tuppence, tuppence a bag"

~ Mary Poppins

Little Faerie side note: Tuppence is the same as Twopence, which is a coin worth two British pennies.

Now we can feed the birds and go fly a kite.

My Dear Sprite,
*giggles*
I sing "Feed the birds" everytime I take my seeds out to all the feeding spots! I humm it in my head.
You are a special treat. Thank you so much.
Love you,
