What a precious little gold finch baby - you captured his sweet innocence so beautifully as he takes in his surroundings!
Dear Deb,
I was so surprised to see the little one. The Gold Finches make their nest in late summer. It says in my bird book that incubation is 10-12 days and fledging 11-17 days. These Finches have been very busy this past month.
I hope to see lots of baby birds this year. If I am lucky I could get photos! Fingers and toes crossed.
