Dear Sprite, I was closer today when the Waxwings came. I had gone out to the deck to read and wait. Here they came in so I was able to take outside photos. I put apples out for them so if they come back tomorrow they will have a nice treat. I was very, very pleased with these photos. Ahhhh..... Sherry
Smitten, indeed! Who wouldn't be by these beauties! I haven't seen them in our back yard, but they made an appearance each year in the house my parents used to own.
Lovely.
Mary - thanks so much for your visit to my blog. Your comment was very welcome!
Hi Mary, I am very, very excited to have the Waxwings about. They are new to my gardens and I hope they become regular visitors. How fun for your parents to have them come every year.. You are welcome for comment. It is fun to have feedback. I will visit you again soon. Sherry
Dear Deb, Oh my stars, I am so very pleased. There are lots of different birds in Missouri, some I have never seen, like the Waxwings. In February I bought a stained glass piece of a Cedar Waxwing and added it to the list of birds to study. I have done some reading about them and now I get to watch them. Dreams can come true! Sherry
