Spring Training
I was thinking about baseball today. I like to listen to the game on the radio.
I like the sounds of it drifting across the summer. Opening day is April 2nd.
The forced Forsythia is blooming.
If the weather continues to be warm it will bloom outdoors in a couple of weeks.
Last night, while walking at dusk, my husband and I watched a pair of Owls.
There was just enough twilight left in the sky to see them.

That sounds so nice. A walk at twilight.
But now, I just decided to not be moaning about the cold and snow still here!!!!! And look at me! I come to this entry and start in whining again! I am hopeless. ,-)

Dear Mari-Nanci,
Some years ago my husband and I began walking at night. Because of a knee and foot injury I had to stop. I have missed our evening walk so much. Slowly I have healed and we are beginning to walk again. Right now we are walking the streets in our neighborhood.
My husband and I are twilight lovers! We like to walk at sunset and watch the first stars come out.
We are romantics.

I love the baseball - good fun!
Hi Chris,
The baseball planter is fun! The grass spouts so quickly and gives the right look!
I trim the grass when it gets too tall.
My little tribute to Spring Training.
