Sweet Spring Day

The Chick-a-dees are enjoying the oranges on the Baltimore Oriole feeder.
There are two pairs that fly, feed and sing together.
I am watched while I clean the deck today.
The white crocuses are in bloom.

The deer ate the white tulips.

Dear Sheila,
The Robins will return to you any day now! When the temperatures dropped to 2 degrees Fahrenheit last month I thought I might need to go buy worms for the Robins. My husband thought the Robins would be fine. I did see some eating berries so I guess they figured the cold out. I do worry.
Glad the spring birds and bugs and flowers are helping to keep your spirits up until Miss Spring comes to you.
Sweet bird songs soon!

Dear Mari-Nanci,
Those deer! I just do not think it is good for them to be coming into my yard. I live on a rather busy street and deer have been hit by cars before. Plus why the white tulips? One would think purple crocuses would be enough. The tulips were not in bloom just the beginning leaves were up. If the deer come back tonight I bet they will eat the white crocus. They are pretty. I grow white flowers in the moon garden. I have this idea that someday I will actually have an all white blooming garden. Maybe I can feed the deer something different if they continue to be visitors. I guess they did not know the white tulips were not for them.
It was a, "darn it donut!" A double "Fiddlesticks!"
What's a nature lover to do?

Thank you so much for your comment in my . You are sweet to say you like the angle I took it at. But 'True Confessions.' ,-) With the walking so bad still around here, and snow... I have to take my pix from the open car window... while my husband drives. ,-)

I so look forward to nice weather when I can hop in the car.. drive to an area and get out and wander and take pix!!!! Come Spring!!!! :-)

Thank you so much for your comment in my photo blog. Saying; "Such a charming house. I love the way you took these shots."

"True Confessions"... I took this from the open car window, while husband drives. 'Cause walking can still be so dangerous in spots, around here. The ding-dang melting snow re-freezes into solid ice, over night and it's verrrrrrrrry dangerous to go anywhere on foot.

I can't wait till I can just hop in the car and drive to a pretty area and park and get out and wander and take pictures. -sigh- I want _that_ more than anything, which Spring will bring!!!! :-)

Dear Mari-Nanci,
Drive-by pix my favorite! My husband also will take me here and there for photos. I do drive but do not like to too. I like looking at everything. When we bought our last car, 10 years ago, we bought a convertible. As soon as possible I will put the top down. I will go hike about in the woods but I find if I am in a wild life area, I can sit in the converible with the top down and a cup of tea and the birds will come to me! Much easier.
I also do not walk about on ice. No! I do not do ice at all. Glad you are being careful, no falling down. Ice is dangerous.
Soon, very very soon, Spring will be your way. Looking forward to your Spring photos. You must live in a very beautiful town, from what I have seen so far.
Delightful!
