Cat in the Hat is a favourite over here too :-)
TV news is showing some awful photos of storms damage, do hope you are all ok over there. Stay safe!
Dear Chris,
Dr. Suess is fun. Many witty wisdoms too.
I know tornadoes hit in the south afew days ago and killed a few people. I will check the news to see if anything happened today. The winds have continued to stay strong out of the West. Here in the Mid-west we do get tornadoes. Usually not this early in the year. The weather patterns are changing and we just will need to keep an eye on the sky. I also would encourage everyone to plant trees. The earth needs more trees.
Thank you for your care.

I love Dr. Suess! Darling has a One Fish Two Fish t-shirt (she's 13!) and the Geek Boy will tell everyone he learned to read with Hop on Pop =)
Thank you for stopping by and commenting.
And I'm *coming right over* for some of those ginger-lemon cream cookies, you got today. :-)))) Best way I've heard of, to forget computer problems. :-)

Hello Tracy,
My husband and I read aloud to our children when they were small. They enjoyed the Dr. Suess books. I knew "One Fish Two Fish" by heart. I support Read Across America. The quest for literacy is a noble cause. The Dr. Suess foundation strives to bring reading to all children.
To fly a kite in one's house is a joy!
So glad to know Dr. Suess is part of your life. I have many favorite characters from Dr. Suess books.
Today I am Thing One.
Perhaps tomorrow I will hear a Who.

Dear Mari-Naci,
So many this and thats can occur with the internet and our computors. It can be frustrating.
I am rather new to the machine.
Most the time when things do not work I figure it is because of sun spots or as Sprite says, "Mercury is retograde". That works so well for me. It becomes an "Okay, time to go shopping while the sun spots cool down and Mercury stops going backwards." It is a upside down and sideways world we live in. A cup of tea and a new biscuit usually puts things in perceptive again.
Lemon-gingers are delicious!
So glad you are here in this neighborhood. I enjoy your musings.
