Full Hunters' Moon

It is misty, it is cloudy
on this Full Hunters' Moon day.

I am staying warm and dry snuggled in my house.

I know the Full Hunters' Moon will be shining bright tonight,
high above the clouds.
Please make a wish for me as she passes over your house.
I will be listening to the wind and the rain.

We have misty and cloudy weather here too. I went out this morning and took pics of delicate spider webs hanging in the hedge. Will post them later on.

Will certainly make a wish tonight on this full hunter moon (if I can see her).
Love your little chipmunk peeping out at us. And what looks like a bsby bird (although it's not the right season for baby birds), all puffed up.

A new moon to make a wish upon ... that sounds like a good plan and I will certainly make a wish for you too as she passes by.

I am enjoying your photos. Gone back and looked at the older posts. So many interesting topics and wonderful pictures.

We have been enjoying beautiful moons here for the last few clear nights. Tonight will be cloudy, so no viewing the hunter's moon.

Dear Wendy,
I will pop over. I love spider webs.
I have been watching a BBC program called, "Life in the Undergrowth".
I just finished the one about the Spiders and their spinnets. Silk is incredible.
Our little bird is a Carolina Wren. He was taking a shower in the mist.
Happy Full Moon!

Dear Lisa,
I use the full moon names from the Farmer's Almanac. I think they are the American Indian names. I like Full Water Lily name for October's full moon. Very pretty name.
Your pictures of the moon are very mnice. I missed seeing her rise. The clouds are starting to break up this evening so maybe I will get a peek of almost full moon.

Dear Marnie,
Thank you! Glad you enjoy the photos. I have fun taking them.
I did some creative sewing today and think I will be doing more this winter.
I still will be walking and I hope to have birds come to the deck.
Looking forward to reading your journal.

It seems that the animals have done the same and have tried to warm up for the night.

We had clear skies for the full Hunter's Moon - a wonderful change after all the cloud we have had this summer. Hope you are well, Sherry. I sent you a wish :-)

Our mist and clouds are a few days late as we expect a wet cold front tonight! It's been a while since rain and we are dry again.

I've been enjoying the moon and stars, too.

Dear Mary,
My husband said there are photo mounts for telescopes....
I would love to take pictures of the stars.
