Relaxing

I spent the day relaxing.

I arranged the Christmas roses.

I sat on the deck wrapped in my blanket.

I read to the birds.

They seemed to enjoy my voice

until Cooper's Hawk flew through the backyard.

What a lovely way to spend an afternoon! Sorry that I haven't been around in a while. I was visiting the grand baby. :)

I wanted to be sure to wish you a wonderful Holiday Season.

The arrival of a raptor does tend to put and end to avian relaxation.

Great shots, Sherry.

Your captions reminded me of haiku you know like:

I read to the birds
They seemed to enjoy my voice
Until the Hawk came

Quite a gathering for your reading Sherry. Was it the tale of Christopher Robin, by chance? The Hawk is stunning....I am finding a fascination with these birds.

The roses are beautiful....perfect blooms.....

I am so glad you found time to relax.......
