Hi, I came over from the safari at Cheryl's. I like that shot of a bee in flight.

I've spotted a number of insects in the garden. Plenty of damselflies, but only one dragonfly. A few bees, hoverflies, and beetles. No butterflies yet this year. I might have to plan some more excursions into the garden and maybe catch the shy bugs.

Hi Sherry....pure delight, lovely, lovely photographs.
I love the ladybird.....have done since I was a child.
Wasn't it fun....I really enjoyed it. The weather was not good for bugs this end, very windy and cool.
Same time next week eh??

I will keep in mind your buggy sunday. This week I will have to just enjoy your photos. It is windy and threatening rain here today. I haven't been outside here except early this a.m. before we went birding.

That first picture of the bee flying is great Sherry.

Dear Chris,
It is a delight to meet you! I enjoyed seeing your bugs. You are many miles north of me, I am a zone 5b and often will be able to over winter a zone 6 plant if I mulch and it is a mild winter.
Looking forward to seeing your gardens.

What a great idea! I think I'm going to take a break from the birds and see what else is in the backyard. All of your photos were lovely!

Hi Sherry!
Not enough time to explore anymore :(
Hopefully soon things will get better and I'll have lots of butterfly pics to send you!

Sherry, I loved the bugs on both your and Cheryl's blog. What a fun idea. We are big bug catchers in this family, with five kids running around. Maybe we'll join you next Sunday.

Enjoyed going on this safari with you and Cheryl! Your photos are so lovely as always. Actually I went on kind of a safari myself last Friday--I also paid you a compliment in my post, if you have time to visit.

Dear Shellmo,
I would love to see your butterflies and bugs. I bet they are different from mine here in Missouri.

Dear Wendy,
The lady bugs are so cute and good for the gardens.
We had a huge birthing of them last fall. Glad to know some are still around.
My husband took this picture while we were on a nature walk.

Dear Mel,
Sending energy! You have lots going on. Do take a break every now and again and let Mother Nature restore you. I am excited to see your butterflies. I bet they are exquisite just like all your birds.

Dear Debbie,
Grab a camera and come hunting with us. It would be fun to visit lots of blogs on Sundays and see bugs!

Dear Rose,
How kind of you! I do feel like a "Butterfly Lady"! I look for them all the time! The butterflies make summer a delightful time of year, as do the ripe veggies!
I enjoyed your bugs! Hope to see more.
It is a joy getting to know you.
Namaste,
Sherry

Hi Scienceguy 288,
Not big game, tiny game!
Planting for the bugs is different too. I do like bugs and learning about them is very interesting.
