Tiger in the hosta

About once an hour I get up from my work.
I grab my camera.
I take a walk about the yard.

While watching the bees in the hosta
an Eastern Tiger Swallowtail flew in.

I was so tickled to see him crawl into the hosta bloom.

That was fun.

My dear Sherry....so very beautiful.....are we not blessed to catch nature at her best....

When I awoke this morning I saw a butterfly sitting in a poppy....I did not have my camera but I stayed until she left......

I have never seen anything travel so far along a hosta bloom.....

What a great capture. I have never seen butterflies at my hosta blooms. I do see bumbles going in and out.

Great pictures! I've seen hummingbirds, but not butterflies on the hosta.
