A new walk

Frost was on the Lupines
when I went to feed the birds.

I was not able to sit with my avian friends.
I was off to the hospital.
I was on my way to sit with my sister.

My sister has begun a new walk.
Family and friends are gathering.
She will not walk alone.

I have been walking the hallways in the hospital.
There is beauty in the hallways.
There is comfort in the whispers.

My sister goes home this afternoon.
Her treatment program will begin in a day or two.
I will sit with her.

I am her daytime companion.

I will care for her as best as I am able.

There is one thing more beautiful than a rose - love.

May you and your sister bask in your love for each other on this new walk.

Love and light.

Gosh that frost was really thick here today too.

You are mightly blessed to be able to help your sister. I will pray for her speedy recovery and for you to have the stamina to be with her on her difficult journey.

Thinking of you and your sister. May you both walk in peace, comfort and healing.

Your pics are lovely. Sherry, only you could find beauty in a hospital.
Love and Light,

Sherry, I read your post this morning and have been thinking about it all day. Your sister is very fortunate to have you. I know how important my sister is to me - she had major back surgery a few months ago and I was able to visit and help her during her first week at home - the gift of time, but it was also a gift to me to BE with her.

My sister is healing and I pray that your sister will be so blessed.
