No red lilies here, just a black bear after the bird feeder. Photos posted at the blog.

Our lilies are beginning to open too Sherry. We are about on the same schedule now. I hope you haven't been hit by the terrible storms blowing through the midwest. They have gone north of us so far. We need a little rain now but I don't want the storms.

Dear Cheryl,
These red Asiatic Lillies just get more stunning every year. I love the way they propagate, not too fast not too slow and all on their own.

Dear Wendy,
I have a bed on the East side of my house filled with day lilies. I look forward to them blooming every June. I bought one red Asiatic Liliy years ago and she has been mutipling, on her own, ever since. My front bed has a very nice stand now.
I will cut one for my desk. I just think they are stunning.

Dear Lisa,
The storms came after supper last night. 2,8 inches of rain and wind!
The lightning was incredible. All is well at my house but some areas in my city did have flash flooding.
We also had a huge gasoline storage tank struck by lightning and caught on fire. 1.2 millon gallons of fuel burned. I watched on tv. Fireballs and smoke and I could feel heat through the screen.
It was very unreal...lots of drama.

Dear Meggie,
The stand of red lilies are near my front door. Each tin=me I leave the house I think I ought to get a picture of all the lilies in bloom.
They are stunning.
