Dear Lisa,
I am looking forward to 2009.
Guy Lombardo's "Auld Lang Syne" says "New Year's Eve" to me.
I shall be out of town when the clock strikes midnight.
Hopefully I will bring home a bug report!

Dear Cheryl,
Thank you for thinking of me during your busy schedule. Hope this card brought smiles.
I am looking forward to 2009 and my studio! I am writing and thinking and planning.
I see hats and bags and all sorts of felt. I see dye pots and herbs.
I can see clearly my studio!
Thank you for helping me visualize my sacred work space.
You inspired me to dream again.
Thank you.
Happy New Year,
Hugs,
Sherry

Dear Jan,
I am having an open house here at Q' Corner. So happy you dropped in too. The 26th is Boxing Day at my house and we love guests coming for a box of goodies.
May 2009 be the year you shine too.

Dear Nancy,
Thank you. I have done a slide show on Fridays for over a year now. I have thought about stopping them but I do have fun creating them.
May you also have a fantastic 2009!

Dear Mary,
I hope so! I am ready to create!
Photography has everything it needs, maybe once in awhile I can get some new lens cloths, but I feel set on equipment. Lots to learn but still I can go click a few photos when I need them.
My fiber art is just taking off. I have lots to learn. Building a studio is my big 2009 goal! I want to grow dye plants too for dyeing. I bet the birds and butterflies will like my dye plants too.
I am excited. I have already started on my studio too. I know the location and I have paint colors pick out and the silk for the curtains is bought.
It is very pretty.
I feel as if I am "birthing" the studio...I AM "birthing" the artist for it! I have an artist cap now for the smock!
Namaste,
Sherry

Dear Rose,
I shall be traveling a wee bit next week. My husband is taking a few days off work and we will go in search of butterflies. I think I know where some are not too far away!
May 2009 be the best to date for you and yours.
Namaste,
Sherry

Dear Jeremy and Carol,
Happy New Year!!!
I wish you were in my livingroom watching the birds and having hot cocoas.
Enjoy being together, the best part of Christmas vacation is being with loved ones.
I am spending my birthday at a butterfly conservatory! Hope to bring home lots of photographs.

Sherry

Wow - that was so beautiful! I don't think I've thought of the New Year so soon. Still thinking of Christmas...
Boxing day is littlest grandson's birthday. He was one year old Dec. 26th. Do you share a birthday with him? Or is it Jan. 1st? Happy Birthday to you!
I hope 2009 fulfills all your dreams.

Dear Wendy,
Thank you!
Since slide shows are on Friday I did my New Year's show on the 26th!
My birthday is the 31st.
How nice you had a one year birthday. I always think they are the most important of the birthdays not only for the child but also for the parents!

Happy New Year!

Dear Robin,
I hope you tried photgraphing the ribbon candy. I did these shots with a macro lens and a black felt background. It is fun to set up a photo shoot.
