Rainy Easter

An old wives tale,

"If it rains on Easter it will rain on the next six Sundays."

I will wait and see!

The pansies enjoyed the shower!

Eeeeeeeeewwwwww I don't like that prediction. It is overcast here and it is supposed to start raining any moment.

Love this old card. Don't the old cards have a sweetness about them. Not loud and in your face graphics of the times now. Oh, I like the new cards too but the old cards are just softer, i feel more prone to savor them.

I agree with Lisa about the old card. It has a softness to it too.
I wouldn't mind rain today - and the next (well not 6, maybe 2) sundays. We had freezing temps today. So rain would be welcome. It was very cold.... just about 0 degrees. Not a nice warm sunny Easter as I would have liked.

Your pansies look splendid with raindrops. Happy Easter!

Your first Pansy photo should be published in a magazine. Very beautiful.

It rained all night and all day here in western washington. However, the sun popped out just before sunset and brightened up the world before it went to sleep for the night.

My mother has always said this saying, and most of the time it has been true. We were lucky that yesterday was bright and sunny, though cool; the rains held off until this morning. At least it didn't snow on Easter! I've seen that happen many times.

Hope you had a wonderful Easter!

I'll take a rainy Easter over a windy Easter. I really wanted to type out some poems but I afraid of losing my revisions if the power went out.

Pansies are simple elegant.
