Goodbye and Hello

Goodbye July.

You have been a delight this year.

You have been cool and wet.

Hello August.

It is Sunflower time.

I am making plans for August.

We celebrate Lammas, First Harvest, on August first.

We shall continue Sunday Safari, The Study of the Prairie, this coming month.

The Full Green Corn Moon is August 5 th and the Perseid Meteor Shower is on the 12 th.

Each Friday in August I shall be having a Spa Day at home. I am preparing my oils and gathering my supplies. Tuesday is arts and craft day and Wednesday is my day to be with friends and post my ABC!

Everyday has bloom, bird and bug time.

Everyday is a day to celebrate.

Happy August!

You spa days sound heavenly! What a nice way to celebrate August, with bees, bugs, spas, and friends.

Where has July gone? I hope August will be nice and sunny where you are. I love sunflowers too!

Also wondering where July went? It was such a pleasant July too. I so enjoy your pictures, and I always learn something new here. Spa Days are pure bliss! Enjoy! -Tammy

What a beautiful post, Sherry! July has been a wonderful month in terms of weather, but it has gone by too fast. I'm not ready for August, but you certainly have some interesting and fun things planned for the month.

I saw four different butterflies here today, including a Monarch that floated over the garden and yard--maybe August will be the best month yet:)

Dear Sherry....absolutely perfect...I was reading and thinking how delightful...spa day, craft day....
August....time goes so quickly. We must enjoy each and every moment, soon autumn will be knocking at the door.....and summer will be a distant memory......
Looking forward to safari tomorrow...that is if it stops raining.....

I love to come & see your wonderful wonderful photos. It seemed to me, that July sped by too fast! Though it is one of our coldest months, so perhaps I am glad it has gone.
