was on the ground.
Mom was up in the Maple tree
Each day there are stories in the garden.
When I am aware
I see the relationships
between the flora and the fauna.
I celebrate the flora
and fauna in my backyard.
I am grateful for their stories.
Happy July 4th.
Dear Sherry, the little one looks as though she may have fallen from the nest. Were you able to put her back??
I have so many juvenile birds in my garden at the moment. The sparrowhawk is hunting, she has young to feed.
The image of the cardinal amongst the foliage is most beautiful......
Happy safari......and happy 4th July.....
hello lovely lady~
such a lovely celebration of flora and fauna! that little bird is to adorable and vulnerable looking.
Happy 4th of July!!
Lovely pictures of a wonderful series of flowers and birds.
Hope you saved the little bird.
I hope the little robin survives. We have a tiny Cardinal in our garden right now. It can barely fly. It is such fun to watch them grow. I hope you had a great 4th.
Poor little Robin, it looked much too young to be out of the nest!
Such a lovely photo of the butterfly on the Cone Flowers and the Cardinal looks so colourful.
I hope you had a wonderful July 4th.
I'm grateful, too! Your photos are special.
He is such a little robin to be out on his own!
My favourite photo is the cardinal in the mimosa!!
We have had several baby birds who fell out of their nests, especially when we had so many storms. I tried to put them back into the trees, safe from our cats, but I'm not sure their parents found them. The funny thing is Sophie, our Golden Retriever, loves to chase birds, but when she's found one of these distressed fledglings, she'll sit by it and protect it from anything going near it.
Love the photos of the goldfinch and the cardinal in your flowers!
What a lovely photo of the cardinal in the mimosa tree. Loved seeing the baby robin too. Hope he's ok util he is able to fly.
I love to look around at my surroundings for beauty, too! I don't know if I've ever seen a swan spread his wings like that! Amazing! ♥
You are so right, every day has a story to tell. One just has to listen to it, i.e. to watch and look and be attentive! I hope the little robin survived!
