My first couple of days at the Raj, in Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa, the weather was rainy and foggy.
I stayed in my room and read between spa treatments. I watched instructional videos. I came to learn about the Vedic way of life. It is all about digestion!
As the week unfolded I began to feel lighter. I felt enthusiasm; creative ideas began to flow.
The morning chorus greeted me each day. Spring came in gently while I was away. I returned refreshed, renewed and nourished.
My daughter had a package sent. It was waiting for me when I checked in. I read her card off and on during my stay. "The poet John Berryman said, "We must travel in the direction of our fear." But we certainly need not travel alone!" I snuggled with little Penguin chick at night. She is a Llama Llovable.
The hand loomed, wool shawl came from India. The colors were just perfect for my Spring Rejuvenation.
