Second Spring

Everything changes.

I am new to the Tarot.

My morning card pleased me.
It is a wheel. I love the symbol of the wheel.
The reading told me all my plans have the green light.
"Move ahead," it says.
We stayed up late last night watching "The Thief of Bagdad."

Such an amazing movie.

The special effects in 1924 were very well done.
Flying carpets are always amazing in any era.

We have been getting movies from the library.

We have been checking out different music.
We have been reading.
Lots of reading.

I am in the second Spring of my life.
I have learned how to wait.
I have learned snow melts.
I just learned cinnamon is good for brain fog.
Cinnamon-honey tea is so delicious.

We got a box of 3 Cary Grant movies from the library. It's such a great source of old classics. Enjoy your movies and music!

Really? Cinnamon for brain fog? I take it every day - but for cholesterol and glucose regulation. I'm afraid my Husband would have a snide comment if I told him what you've discovered!

You can't beat an old classic film especially on a rainy Sunday afternoon. We had hundreds on video tape which are gradually being replaced with dvds, the charity shops have benefited from the tapes!

An interesting post as always Sherry, thank you.

Dear Sherry.....old movies can be such fun....I rarely get the chance to watch these days......the time will come.

Cinnamon is also good for the joints. In India they use it every day to keep them agile...... I watched an 80 year old climb a palm tree at extreme speed, I think it may work......

I think I must be in the 58th spring of my life, as the sap rises, I always feel such vitality.....

I like cinnamon. Did not know it was good for brain fog. Cinnamon honey tea - yummmmmmmm.

Nice to take some time to watch old movies and read books. Music too is good for the soul.

Fascinating about the Cinnamon Honey tea. I dislike all but Peppermint or Rosehip and Hibiscus.
As a child I was fed Rosehip Syrup for Vitamin C. I remember looking at the Hips on the Roses, with wonder.
