Sherry, Dr Seuss is magical and always will be - the last image just makes me laugh. I think I will "borrow" that image and save it to share with "the Elliot" when he gets a tad bit older; then we'll share a giggle together. We're celebrating his very first birthday this week - a grand way to start Spring!

Happy Birthday good DR. I thought of you today Sherry, when I was putting away my valentine decor and getting out my measly one Irish decoration. Ha...

Did not know it was Dr. Seuss's birthday today? Love love love his books. Read them all the time to my kids and now my grands. We're reading Green Eggs and Ham these days.

They are fun books.

While he was alive in his later years, he lived in La Jolla, CA which is where I had lived between the 70's-80's. I had the pleasure of seeing his work exhibited at the La Jolla Museum. Great post!

Dr. Seuss has been a long-time favorite at our house, first with the kids and now with the grandkids. My long-time teaching colleague celebrates Read Across America every year, even though her classes are filled with teenagers. She hands out Dr. Seuss stickers and bookmarks; the kids love it!
