Spring colors and songs

I listened to the Robin sing.
The purple Crocuses began blooming today.
I saw the little orange butterfly but could not get my picture.
I will look for him tomorrow.

Your photos take my breath away. I mean it. I'm not making this up. My breath just catches, at the beauty.

Dear Mari-Nanci,
Thank you so much.
When I gasp I also think I have found that monent of beauty. Once in awhile I do gasp with a photo. Nature makes me gasp! Getting all the right elements to work together is often frustrating. I miss as many great shots as I take!
Birds move around a bit so they do not give me a chance for a retake.
The flight photos are often some of my favorites. They happen so quickly!
Thank you again,

More beautiful pics! I just love your birds, I cannot get close enough to ours for such photos. Really wonderful.

Crocuses and butterflies! ... ah Spring.

Dear Chris,
The new lens does bring the birds up close! Now I am looking forward to getting a filter for it. That way I can take photos when it is very bright out. Many times I am shooting up into the trees with too much back light!
Taking pictures of the birds is one of my dreams come true. The digital format makes learning photography and sharing the photos so easy.
My next dream is to add the sound!

Hi Deb,
I really hope to get a photo of the little orange butterfly soon!
It is elusive!
I am so glad I took the purple crocus photos as now they are gone, eaten by the deer. I did not think the deer would come so close to the house. I may want to net the early spring flowers next year.
