Turkey Vulture

Ten Turkey Vultures circled. These are large birds with a six foot wing span.
Very fantastic sighting for us.

Thank you for you comment in my Blog today... "There will be time for Spring flowers and Summer joys, just not today."

So true. So true. We should not despise today, and long for tomorrow.

And the thing is, I usually don't. I'm actually happy with whatever Season I happen to be in. So I suppose I'll *blame* all the pretty Blogs I'm reading, with all their pretty glimpses of Spring, in other places. {Why of course! I'm *not* going to blame myself, am I?!? -smile-}

But I should take myself in hand, so to speak. Enjoy the Spring photos yes. But stop making myself upset, by snow still being on my ground.

Yes Mammmmm, thank you! I needed that! :-))))))))

Hi Naturegirl.
You have been getting some lovely Florida bird photos! It will be fun to see your vultures.
I find when I travel I bring a new way of looking at life home with me. Travel makes my world view larger.
Hope you are having fun!

Dear Mari-Nanci,
I would think that you are one who enjoys the day! Yet, at some point one does tire of winter! The cold and snow just becomes a bother.
All the hats, coats, gloves and boots that were so fun in October and November are now heavy with over wearing.
When I have zone envy I remember last June, July and August. It was warm here and I know those in zones 7-8 are frying eggs on their sidewalks. I also think about what grows in my backyard. I am as far south as Peonies will grow. What about Lupines? I think I am also about as warm as they can tolerate.
I like looking at the Spring gardens. I like seeing how others do things.
Perhaps a Lemon-ginger cream would give you the feeling of early spring. I am doing limeaides for March.
I am so glad you are here. I look forward to your comments.
Thank you,

Dear Chris,
Seeing the Turkey Vultures over my house was awesome! They did not stay too long. It is fun to share the ways of the birds, bugs and plants. I like seeing yours too.

Dear Deb,
It is a busy place I live in. As the season changes different birds and bugs come to call. I live as close to nature as I can.
The camera has made sharing so much fun.
Thank you for enjoying.
