Beautiful pictures. I have few trees left with leaves still on them. They would be interesting if a little snow falls on them. Might see a few flakes by week's end

I am so glad you picutred the female cardinal. I think they are one of the most elegant birds and they don't get the press their mate gets.

Dear Tumblewords,
It was a riot of color today. The wind was blowing so strong and the air was filled with leaves. Everywhere I looked I saw "color"!
It is a delight to share Autumn, in the midwest, with you.

Hi Mon@rch,
I liked the way the Maple tree and the female Cardinal were color coordinated!
She is my favorite of all the birds.

Dear Mary,
Autumn has been more colorful than Spring this year.
I had so much fun sitting and being with Autumn. I knew it was my last day with leaves on the trees. The cold front has come in now and it is getting cold outside. I will need to bundle up for my evening walk.
Hope you also are enjoying your Autumn. You did get some rain!
Hugs,
sherry

Dear Lisa,
The female Cardinal is my very favorite bird. She also is my bird for 2007! I have been taking photos of her all year. Many are printed. This one will be my November Cardinal for my desk!
If I was a bird I would want to be a female Cardinal.
I agree, she is very elegant! Sings too!
We ARE kindred spirits!

Dear Cathy,
Oh dear, snow???
It would be very early for snow here. We have had snow in October before but so hard on the trees with the leaves still on.
I hope your trees will be okay.
I also hope you get some photos. I love taking pictures of snow. It is outstandingly beautiful!
Thank you! It is easy to take beautiful photos when Nature is so accommodating.

It still looks golden there. Your photos warmed me right up. It's not overly cold here yet but there's not a scant leaf on a tree and we are ready for the snow now. Hugs.

Oh Sherry,

You know She just captures my heart! I adore sweet little missy Cardinal.

What a beautiful wind swept day it has been today. Bright and Blowy, hehe.

Last night in the middle of the night I was out looking in the night sky for a celestial event. It is a comet that has exploded and is brightening each day that goes by.

It makes me feel so excited that something wonderful is about to happen. Something magnificent is so near. This is an auspicious moment in history.

I am feeling that glimpse of grace that brings the feeling of 'Oneness' with all.

Legions of Light, and Loads of Love~

Dear Saucy,
Happy November to you and your loved ones. Many of the trees in my area are holding tight to their leaves. As the month moves forward I expect more leaves will fall. We use the leaves for our composit. They become my mulch. I am looking out of my office window this morning and the day is bright and cold! Soon I will bundle up and go walking.

Dearest Sprite,
Yes, we are one. Even when we forget we still are one.
I will look too for this cosmic event..I have not heard of it.
These are "auspicious" times. It is now that we hold tight to the knowledge that heaven is here on earth. We hold to the light and give our love freely.
Each day I am grateful to be witnessing this time in history.
Each day I am grateful for you!
Namaste,
Sherry

Dear Jayne,
Thank you. The colors just keep getting brighter! Even the Pinoak is lovely this year.
I watched the Juncos this morning get seed from a brass leaf I set out on the deck. I think more and more of my indoor decorations are moving outside to be bird feeders!

Dear Miss Sandi,
How very kind of you! Thank you.
Mother Nature is my inspiration. Friends that come to visit here are my motivation! I enjoyed your blog. I shall pop over often so we can get to know each other.

Dear One-who-rattles,
I love mysteries! I thought about all the Shamans I know..they have their rattles and often are on the wing. Could you be one of them??
I thought about friends and family that have been so very busy with work that they do not have time for Corner...could you be one of them??? Has the universe opened up the time box and sprinkled more time for you??? I hope so. Having time to share in the beauty of our world is a delight.
Hope you will come again and relax and rest and be with me, here, in heaven on earth.
Namaste,
Sherry

Dear Cat,
Thank you! I also had troubles with blogger! I think they had some work to do.
Sometimes the day works out in such a way I have a couple of posts!
The way I do my photos I can only post four photos at a time. That effects the way I post.
November is all about leaves at my house. My front yard is full of leaves now...
November perfect!
Hugs,
Sherry

Dear Nita,
In the American Indian way the Cardinal means, "our work has value". I think it is nice to learn from nature. I learn something new every day!

Sherry

sherry are you American Indian? my Mom is 1/2 Cherokee. My Grandfather grew up in Tallequah, ok. xoxo nita

Dear Nita,
My heritage is not American Indian.
I respect their way. I admire them. I like the way they are one with nature. I like the tradions of learning from from nature and not being wasteful. Many indigenous peoples are close to nature. I try to learn from them.
I honor your heritage.
Yo!
