Sherry such beautiful pictures. That rose looks good enough to eat.The picture of the pied-billed grebe with the reflection would be fun to paint. I might try that this winter if you don't mind. When it gets too cold outside for being out very long I start slopping the watercolor onto paper.Happy Thanksgiving...
Dear Lisa,Thank you! I will cut the roses before they are frosted on Wednesday with the winter storm that is coming in! I do eat them too!Oh, thank you for the id. I was suppose to do the ids today and I had not gotten to it. Thank you very much. I can't wait to tell my husband. I would be honored if you would water color one of my photos. I have a few on my other blogs that are "arty".Happy Thanksgiving to you too. It will a quiet day for us. I might make cinnamon rools for my husband. They are his favorite.Sherry
Love your photos and that is a stunning pied-billed grebe shot! Bravo!
What amazing photos. I long for weather like that. We are getting our first "sticking" snow tonight and since I am driving to Denver tomorrow, I'm not very thrilled. It does look pretty though, I might take a photo or two in the morning and post them from beautiful Colorado.Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Sherry your images continue to bring peace but today my heart is sad with images of the slaughter of innocent white whales in coastal waters of Australia..what is the human race coming to...sadly shaking my head NG
Dear Mon@rch,The grebes were out in force on Saturday. I was pleased to get a few nice close ups. I do not know my water fowl very well and am working on learning them. This reserve is so close to our house we could easily go once a week. Thanks,Sherry
Dear Laurie,Beautiful Colorado! My husband and I lived there for a few months in 1973. Our daughter lived in Boulder for a couple of years while she got her masters degree. Now she is in Oregon. Colorado is very beautiful. I will look for a post. Safe travel. I do not know if the winter storm that is suppose to come to us will actually bring snow or not. I always think the first snow of the season is magical.Happy Thanksgiving,Sherry
Dear Anna,I am so sorry! I do not understand people sometimes. It is sad to see animals killed. Why humans do not learn how to live with nature is so troubling to me too. We can cry together. Hankie?Hugs,Sherry
