You have captured some of the most amazing colours in nature! I am looking forward to the Finch returning to our garden. It shouldn't be too long until they are sitting in the lilac :-}

Dear Deb,
Spring is so vivid! Sometimes the colors dazzle me and I must close my eyes and take a break!
My music today is "Rumores de la caleta by Pepe Romero. This selection is off of his cd, "Guitar Solos".
He fires me right up!

Lovely Sherry....such beautiful photographs put together perfectly.

I walked the garden this morning and to my amazement a female goldfinch was building a nest in one of my small pine trees. I am so thrilled, they are always around but they have never nested here before. I am honoured.

Exquisite! The music does get one's heat stirring. I love the way you moved through the colors. Find it hard to believe that spring is actually SOMEWHERE. Grin. Beautiful, Sherry, just beautiful!

Dear Cheryl,
How exciting! I enjoy the nesting birds too. I am very careful not to go snooping into their nests. I think it is rude! Plus I think it alerts predators to where the eggs are.
It is an honor to share our homes and gardens with the birds and bugs. I am so grateful to them for opening their world to me. The least I can do is provide food and water. I am aware of how much habitat has been destroyed.
Enjoy your Gold Finches...they are beautiful. Wild Canaries....I just love their song and their call.
Glad you enjoyed the slide show this week.

Dear Anna,
You will be returning soon to your gardens and your roses!
So happy you were able to get some much needed sunshine these last couple of months. I too seem to wait all year so Spring!
It is my favorite season.

Dear Woolladyfelter,
Thank you. I was thinking about you when I saw the Orioles again. I think I saw an Oriole's nest on your journal awhile back. I thought of wearvers and Orioles and how much we can learn from the birds and the bugs.
I am happy you enjoyed the slide show. I sure have lots of fun doing them.

Dear Sue,
Thank you for noticing the way I used color! Sometimes I tickle myself with all the subtle layers I put into a slide show! It is a pleasure to do these videos.
Oh Sue, I am looking forward to Spring bursting out at your house. Winter has overstayed!
The older I get the harder the cold is for me. I might have to join my migrating friends one of these years.
Thinking warm thoughts and beautiful spring flowers and scents for you.

Dear Lisa,
I do feel passionate! I have been sick for so long and having some vitality feels great!
Sometimes it is only my sunny disposition that gets me through the winter. This past year has been very difficult for me.
Being with the birds and butterflies from the tropics is good medicine!

Dear Mel,
Pepe is amazing!
He just speaks to me when the Orioles return.
So glad you enjoyed this video. Pepe always makes me feel passion. He is good medicine.

Dear Chris,
Thank you.
You know I love the butterflies....
I planted a few more bushes for them. Hopefully I will plant another hedge this spring that the birds and the butterflies will enjoy.
