Dear Carol,
Thank you!
I enjoyed this too. John Arpin plays "When you Wish Upon a Star" on his LP "Wishing Upon A Star".
At twilight my husband and I are walking now. I make a wish on the first star I see.
Hope your flowers are filling your world with joy.
Namaste,
Sherry

Dear Lynne,
Thanks!
The peonies I cut for my inside vases are beginning to shatter. Time to replace with fresh blooms.

Dear Chris,
I am so happy to see you again. I have missed you.
The peonies have been so incredible this year. I think the cooler spring is why. I have enjoyed this spring so very much. I hope summer will be as enjoyable. I need a few easy years.
After last spring I almost...almost...gave up. Glad I hung in for Peonies 2008.

Dear cheryl,
Each week it is a little bit different. I will have to stop slide shows at some point I guess. I have been doing them for a long time...since last September.
Glad you still enjoy them.

Your Video was just what the DR ordered for me this evening Sherry. Just beautiful. I loved the peonies and they were sparkling like stars with those droplets of water capturing the light. That Chickadee seemed to be telling you a story. I wonder what he was saying? Maybe asking for more treats? What ever that one flower was that was making a heart shape was sweet too. I often think of tulip poplar blooms as stars because all the Tulip Poplar trees I am close to are very tall. I hope you get your wish and have a wonderful weekend.

Dear Sherry,

This is my bedtime lullaby. This is one of my favorites from you when I'm glad it's Friday night. The Chickadees, Brown Thrashers, Peonies, and everything! enhances my desire to open my restaurant again. My goodness, you do good work. You are amazing.

Hugs,
Mary

Dear Lisa,
I am so happy the slide show was calming and restorative for you!
Lots and lots of peonies. They will be over before long and we will move on to other fancy flowers!
The little chickadees are out. So many of them too. I am enjoying all the kids at the feeders.
It has been a full week with rain and cool temps and now humidity!
I have more seeds to get into the ground so the butterflies have food come August!

Dear Mary,
Thank you! I was not sure if I should keep doing the slide shows but since you do like them, you really like them, I will!
Do open up the feeders. You will enjoy seeing all your bird friends again. If the bad boys come back shut the door again!
My hummers are not coming around very much. I wonder what is going on??

Such a beautiful end of May slideshow with the gorgeous peonies.

Dear Deb,
Thank you. I have not worked on Almanac all month! If I did I would say May was the month for the peoney! They have been incredible this year.
