Stories

Seeing a Javelina

and an Armadillo were highlights on my trip.

We stayed at The Inn at Chachalaca Bend,
Los Fresnos, Texas.

Lisa from Greenbow had told me about this incredible lodging.
Thank you, Lisa!

We stayed on the river walk in San Antonia, Texas.
We soaked in the healing waters in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
I am processing the photos and doing laundry.

I need to go get the mail and some groceries.
I hope to tell the story of my trip to the Lone Star state soon.

There were lots of birds!

Welcome back, Sherry! I'm glad you had a wonderful time; looks like you made a lot of new friends:) Some fascinating and different species of birds here and on yesterday's post; I love the last picture today. Hopefully the temperatures when you arrived home were as warm as they have been here the past few days.

Your heart sings Sherry.....the birds and animals are beautiful....how lovely to be amongst them......did any come close??
It was kind of Lisa to advise you on where to stay....this helps so much when you do not know the area....
What temperature did you have??

Raining here and grey skies.....very dull......

What great shots Sherry. That Javelina looks like it was close to you. They are usually shy. I love armadillos for some reason. I have always wanted to touch one.
Can't wait to hear more about your trip. I know you are busy getting reestablished at home. It sounds great so far.
