Good Luck

The Angel and I made an agreement.
I will watch over her,
she will watch over me.

When our son is ready for her to reside
at his new place she can travel to him.

I will fill her dish with water.

The turtles once were on my parents front porch.
They went to my son's house.
Now they will live with me.
The dragonflies swoop and rest all day long.
I have heard they are good luck.
I am a lucky girl.

The Black Swallowtail was drying her wings on the parsley.
It is festival time.
I am celebrating.
August at my house shall be know as "Festival of Wings".

I am sure the angel is already watching over you :-) You have such a wonderful way with the butterflies, they must sense something. Perhaps you could open your own butterfly farm! May all your hopes and wishes come true:-)

Dear Chris,
I hope all the host plants and nectar plants keep the butterflies coming for many years. Going native has made a huge difference this year in the number of different species I have coming to the backyard.
My hopes and wishes are for my kids. I wish them both the best of health and happiness. When the kids are doing fine all seems right with the world.
Angels and wings,
Sherry

As well as the delightful plants, the birds and bees, and butterflies, you have these lovely garden ornaments!
Your garden must be the envy of the neighbourhood!

Dear Mary,
Ohhh...
Being an Angel is hard work!
I also am so happy to have gotten to know you. We all do need Angels to keep an eye on us, send comfort and laughs. All the Angels I have ever known are so funny!
Hugs,
Sherry

Dear Sheila,
I would enjoy having a few more hardscapes installed! We have pavers for a few more walks and rock for a rock wall. I need a garden house and a couple more trellises...These are the hardest things for me to do.
Going native means "weeds" to some!
I read how Monet went native every few years. The other side of the Monet garden.
One of these days every growing spot will have it's ornament. The Angel is only here until our son has room for her. She is pretty and another bird water spot. I like that.

That's a beautiful angel, Sherry.

J was in our driveway, the other night, around 9:30 or so. He said he was surrounded by so many Dragonflies, he couldn't count them. Wish I had known!

I have a picture of triplet fawns at the back porch. Have you seen it?

Dear Pat,
The dragonflies are out in huge numbers right now! They are amazing!
I did see your photo of the triple Fawns and their Mother! How incredible! I think when I commented on your post I forgot to mention them. I was thinking about how your house is so perfect and what in the world would you do to spiffy it up any more!
Hope you had fun getting ready for visitors.
Sherry

Dear Naturegirl,
May your photos this weekend capture all sorts of "wings" We can make wishes on our sunflowers and send blessings on the wings of the birds, dragonflies and butterflies!
May your August also be a "Festival of Wings".
Starlight and Moon beams,
Sherry
