Hot is hot

The acorns are starting to fall.
It seems early.
I put the grape jelly away for the year.
The Orioles still come looking for their treat.

The bees are covered in pollen.
The Hummingbirds find bugs and nectar in the flowers.
It is a hot August day.

Dear Sherry,

I have never seen a bee covered in pollen before. What a marvelous photograph! Thank you!

Oh, seeing that acorn makes me think of fall coming. I love the fall season. I feel better in the fall. The smell of the cool crisp air is one of my favorite things on earth.

I know it is terribly hot today, but I am still dreaming of fall.

Many blessings as you go about your day...

Much love,

Dear Sprite,

"I was born under wandering star."
Paint Your Wagon....

Bee was having trouble!! Totally covered!

The acorn also made me think of Autumn. It won't be too long now before the cool mornings return.
Until that time stay cool and I hope you are feeling better.

I am singing,
Drifting along....

Ah a little acorn, fall must be coming at last. Good! I'm in the mood for some football games.

Dear Cathy,
I am looking forward to the cooler days of September and October.
For now I am stuck inside until it cools down!
Football is soon.
