Dear Deb,
Thank you!
This is my favorite Ravi Shankar cd., Passages. He is playing with Philip Glass. This selection is too long for Corner, 7:32, so I could only do a portion of it. It is called simply, "Ragas in Minor Scale".
Glad you enjoyed it.
I would like to have some new to the backyard birds to photograph for slide shows...Spring will come and so will the spring birds and butterflies!

Exquisite.
I can tell by everything you posts that you are so in touch with your spiritual side. I enjoy the time I spend with you.
Thank you.

Delightful! Delightful! The snow is beginning to melt a bit here - looks like all my sumac bushes are broken. It was a pleasure to see that yours are still intact!

Very nice, Sherry. I just loved the water reflections!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Dear Cheryl,
I am in touch with the spiritual aspect! Very much so!
It is wonderful you can tell that. I also am in touch with my feeling nature. The body has been evasive for me. I am embarking on a quest, an adveture to know my body as well as I know my spirit and my mind. I am posting about this adventure in "Walking In Beauty." I do not know if others have this search for body. LOL
Hopefully this adventure will be fun and beautiful!
SO happy you enjoy your time here.
I am so pleased you come and take the time to comment. Thank you.

Dear Sue,
Glad you liked this one.
I hope your sumac comes back! Mine is a rather large tree but ten feet of snow is lots of snow and would almost bury mine! I also hope you do not have any flooding.
You really had lots of snow. More than enough for spring's blooms.
Perhaps you can have a dryish, melting time for a few weeks!

Dear Mary,
It finally warmed up enough I could get out walking a little bit. I walked up to the little pond near my house. I would like to leave the backyard more often!
I am still so impressed with your Red-headed Woodpecker! I saw some last year in the woods not too far from my house. I would love to see them again.
Maybe that would be a good weekend outing!

Some of my favorite music that you have posted so far. I could have listened to the entire 7+ minutes.

I just love that chickadee on the chain. I am tempted to try to paint it. I hope you wouldn't mind. I don't sell my paintings. First off no one would want them. I am in the learning stages of watercolor painting.

It bet it's hard sometimes to pick what music to use for your video.

I understand so well, I am fortunate that I like you have a soul that I am so in touch with. I hope I understand you correctly with the body aspect....I am into holistic healing and when my body speaks to me I treat it with herbs, plants that I grow in my garden and oils that I mix. I have found over the years that this works for MEand I consider that I am now totally at one with myself. Please tell me more.

Thankyou for those little feathered treasures.
The furry little squirrels, which we don't have in this country- so intriguing.
We have lone man, who sits on the tiles in the square, playing the Sitar, Ragas, unending. He says he just love to play, & any coins are bonuses, to his world of simplicity.

Wonderful, Sherry. I realised today that often the only time I sit really still is when I watch your videos :-) Thank you for all of them :-)

Dear Lisa,
I easily can listen to a seven minute piece too but the photos would take awhile to load for everyone! Glad you liked this piece. The sitar is one of my most favorite intruments. I also love the flute.
I would be honored if you painted chickadee on chain. I will e-mail the picture to you. Here on Corner we only have a few of those mixipixels. No worries on selling or not. I never think about such a thing.
The photos on Corner are my gift to everyone. Like the birds and butterflies are Mother Nature's gift to me. I simply pass the beauty on.
Live, laugh and love,
Sherry

Dear Cathy,
It is sometimes. I love so many pieces and I want to share everything! I wish I could find a way to fade out the longer pieces so they do not end so abruptly.
I only have so much control with the software for slide shows.
Stay safe and warm.
We have more of the Wintery mix stuff coming tonight. Are you counting down for Spring? I am!
Namasta,
Sherry

Dear Cheryl,
I too am a holistic healer. I think there is a time and place for western medicine. Most often I just use my own herbs and oils and my "way" for healing my body. I have a "self made up way", the body speaks and the spirit responds by telling my mind what to do. My way is intuitive.
I grow my own herbs too. I read lots about the medical properties of herbs.
I think I need to do more preventive self care. The Ayurveda is my new adventure. This ancient way is the oldest medical science in the world. It speaks to me.
I am posting about my journey into the world of the Ayurveda on my journal, Walking in Beauty. You can click on the link on the side bar and come along if you would like. I would love to share with you as I learn and discover.
I shall come visiting and talk with you about this.
Namasta,
Sherry

Dear Meggie,
I understand your lone man. I know of his way. It is a marvelous way to live. Very simple and in tune with his inner song. Each of us has a inner sacred song. When we honor that inner melody we are at one with the universe. I have only met a couple of people in my life that know their inner sacred song.
When I put the squirrels in the slide show I thought of you. I was hoping you would enjoy seeing them. I have a dozen at least that enjoy raiding my bird feeders. I put peanuts out for them but they like the bird feeders the best!
Hope your end of summer is going well. Maybe things have dried up a little bit for you.
Some day I will get to Austraila and New Zealand. I would love to see the Blue Penguins. I know them as Fairy Penguins. I read they only live in New Zealand.
Thsnk you for comments and enjoying my slide-shows.
Blessings,
Sherry

Dear Chris,
Wow! Thank you. I am beyond words. I sit very quietly off and on all day. I need the stillness.
I am honored that you find repose here at Corner.
Namasta, my friend.
