Chorus of Spirits

I came by earlier and was afraid it wasn't Friday after all! This clip is spectacular! I'm curious about the narrative - both voice and words.
Great treat, as always...

Dear Sue,
I came home from my road trip very late last night. I slept in this morning!
The poem is "Chorus of Spirits"
by Percy Bysshe Shelley.
It is read by Prunella Scales.
I wanted to do something "spirit" for Halloween and I thought this captured the way I see the world.
I am so happy you enjoyed this. My photos this past week were mostly about autumn color. I think our earth is paradise.

I have not heard this work by Shelly before, but I think our earth may well covered with oceans of emotions :-) Your photos are amazing!

Dear Chris,
My daughter told me Mary Shelly, Percy Bysshe Shelley's wife, wrote Frankenstein.
I like this poem.
Our world IS covered with emotions!

Dear Sherry,

This is fantastic! I really enjoy the "Chorus of Spirits" poem. Wow! The photographs are remarkably colorful. What a great way to set Halloween week into motion.

I think I'll light a candle, turn off the lights, then listen and watch it again....

Oooooo OOOOoooo OOoooooooo.

Dear Sprite,
BOO! I love the spirit world. I know you do too. OOOOoooo....AAAAaaaa....!
Heaven is on Earth when we see it...when we give our love towards nature...when we care for her.
So glad you liked this. I was hoping the poem would be a fun experience. The trees are in peak color. Looks as if 1st frost will be tonight. As we walk towards Halloween we will be walking under a canopy of color.
I would like to photograph the veil between the worlds...
So happy you enjoyed this. I sort of stepped out of my normal slide show....

Dear Sue,
This reading is from Prometheus Unbound. Act IV. Percy Bysshe Shelley
I was rather unclear about the source of this stanza.

Dear Sheila,
This was fun! I was uncertain if the reading would come across okay. Glad it did.
I wonder why last week's slide show would not play for you???
Blogger sometimes has trouble. I have a friend who tells me when communications are messed up it is Mercury in retrograde. I normally think whenever I have trouble it is due to sun spots!
Try again, maybe Slide Show Spirits will make it happen!

Dear Nita,
A somewhat different approach to Halloween!

Dear Gina,
Thank you. I do all sorts of strange little posts.
Slide Show Friday is one of my favorites.

Sherry, your artistic talent shows in this video. The voice is haunting, in a way...perfect for Halloween spirits. Just glorious for Autumn!

Dear Mary,
Thank you!
I liked the echoing, multi-spirit, voice too. The poem worked. I do see Mother Nature through the eyes of love.
