Happy Hunting

I went thrift store shopping.
I have a list of needs.

The French Lilac bed needed decoration.
It needed a couple of candle holders.
The pond could always have another piece.
While waiting in line another shopper talked about the joys of thrift stores.
As I was leaving she said, "Happy hunting."
"Thank you, happy hunting to you too!"

I am having the best of times decorating the house and gardens.

Your yard must have fairies floating about the magic you make.

Dear Cathy,
I too have had a wee bit of trouble with Blogger! I look forward to your comments! Thank you always.
In October I have all sorts of "heads" with candles in them along my front sidewalk. I was not sure these would work but since they are in a different garden they did! I have 31 candle holders all together outside. I light them in the evenings if the weather allows. Spooky!!

Dear Mary,
Oh yes, Fairies and they grant wishes and help with the weeding!
Sometimes in May and December they dance in the Moonlight too.
In October I tuck little surprises in the gardens and in the trees.
I create a "haunted forest" evey year.
This year the forest is a tad different as it is no longer "haunted" but is the Magical Forest. The Unicorns have arrived.
I posted photos of the "heads" last year. Not sure what I will post this year.
I really enjoy October!~

You found some wonderful Halloween decorations. I can just imagine how wonderful your home looks with 31 candle holders all lit up outside! How fantastic.

Dear Deb,
I think these will look great with tea lights in them. Having all the candles going is very pretty and sort of spooky....

Dear Sprite,
Getting back into the hunt was fun!
October decorating has brought out the best in me.
My husband and I will will get our pumpkins soon. That is always fun.
I do hope things cool down a bit more. 85 degrees as I type! Too warm for October! I like highs in the 60-70's.
Maybe next week the North Wind will come in.
