I wanted a Redwood growing out of the top of the world for my travel charms. My husband cut a globe in half and made a tree stand with the Northern Hemisphere. The Southern Hemisphere is a basket for my penguins. When we travel I collect charms representing the areas we visit. We have four travel trees.
Hi Deb, It seems to take me years to get all the pieces for each tree. I have "in the meantime" until each one pulls together. I do have to remember storage space! Last night I bought a new tree for a trip we are taking. My husband asked me, "How many trees do we have now?" I counted this morning. I only have 42. I promise to stop at 100! They are fun to do. ~Q~

You have so many creative ideas! I love your "theme" trees.
