Hi Chris,
Welcome to my Corner of the world!
The Sparrows are so funny to watch. I love our house and gardens. It is a small city house with a small city yard. Each year we remove a wee bit more grass.
We have been remolding the 1950's Ranch for 29 years. We are slow but sure people.
I rather "took" to the camera!
I find I wok a bit and play the rest of the time!
Thanks for coming over.

Hi Deb,
We can have a party with the birds!
It was kind of you to share Corner with your friend.
I do have a few bird friends that come by every day.
As the seasons change the gardens change. Once Winter is officially here I will be looking at doing my indoor gardening more. So far I have not invited the birds in. I do think it would be nice to invite the butterflies in.

Hey Dave!
Nice to hear from you. Sparrows are so funny! I think of them as the "clowns" of the bird world.
Last week when the rain/sleet was coming in I had lots of Sparrows on the table feeding. I was doing some work in the office and heard a, "thump". I went to the dining room and saw Cooper's Hawk down, on the table. He recovered somewhat and slowly flew off. He left a little Hawk on the dining room window. All the Sparrows were spared from being Hawk's dinner.
I think he flew in too quick.
I noticed today when he flew over he kept his distance from the deck.
Sparrows are save.
