"Tennessee Walker, Ma'am"

My husband and I went for our evening walk.
Venus was still high in the western sky.

Coming up the sidewalk we saw a man and his horse.
They were taking a stroll too.
"Primrose, Ma' am. A Tennessee Walker, Ma'am."

Primrose is a pretty horse..!
And her rider is dressed for the 4th of July.
Venus is so bright isn't she...I look for her every night at bed time..

Dear Sheila,
I was so surprised to see a horse on the sidewalk!
My husband ran in for the camera and the rider was kind to stop under the street lamp so I could snap a couple of photos. I asked him what type of horse he was and was so tickled when he said, "Tennessee Walker, Ma'ma."
Polite rider and a beautiful horse.
Venus is in the west and Jupiter is in the east...beautiful star gazing this month!

What a wonderful neighbourhood to find horses & friendly riders on your evening stroll :-}

Dear Deb,
When we saw the horse and rider on the sidewalk we both were so surprised! I am now wondering if they were on their way to a parade or something for today! There is a stable not too far from our house.
I seldom see horses at my house!

Sherry! How fortunate to meet him! You are near the city - not on country roads. I would love to get an idea of your area.

Dear Mary,
How to describe my little spot?
Humm...
I will think about this and see if I can find a way to post something.
I am in the city but not near industry.
Humm...
I will think.
