Adaptation

The pink Heirloom Tulips in the Redbud bed are changing.

They are adapting.
They are becoming Rembrant tulips.
I will not know until next year if this is permanent.
I have read the marbling on tulips is a virus.
It seems to have occurred here from bitter cold temperatures.
The French Lilacs have simply stopped their blooming.
The creeping phlox also is on hold.
Some of the trees have frozen leaves.
The English Ivy has turned brown.
