The Maple tree is budding again. New leaves are beginning to form.
The back Ash has yet to begin.

As I look about I see signs of re-emergence.

Hi Sherry,

Thank you for the camera info. I made note of it and will put it on my wishlist. I think I would enjoy that camera, very much!

Dear Pat,
When I decided I wanted to take up photography I made a list of everything I wanted a camera to be able to do. Last April I bought the camera. Since that time every "gift" I have asked for has been related to photography. I read photography books and talk about different ways to capture the shot!
The commitment to a photo essay everyday of photos taken on that day, has been an excellent way for me to learn my camera and the different lens. When we first bought the telephotos lens, 200x-500x it was heavy. I have a monopod to hold it up. That is nice for staged shots but birds move around without notice. I had to learn how to hold the lens and the camera without movement and without the monopod. I found that by using my yoga stance and by breathing from the bottom of my lungs I was stable. Sometimes I still get excited and have to remind myself to calm down! New birds do that. This past year I have read lots about light too.
Today my favorite shop is the photo supply store.
My new adventure is in sound recording. I am just getting started. It is equally as exciting as the photos.
There is so much to learn.
Sherry
